14th Annual Science & Nature Conference

This conference features a keynote presentation and hands-on sessions on a variety of topics related to science and nature. Topics from previous years have included robotics, planetarium shows, learning about bugs, building greenhouses, etc.

KEYNOTE SPEAKER -- Jay Reynolds, a member of the NASA Glenn Research Speakers Bureau, presents over forty astronomy presentations per year in our region, discussing Mars Rovers, Cassini and DAWN Missions to the public.

Robots Explore Our Solar System!

Rovers on the surface of Mars; probes in orbit around Mars & Saturn. Robots are currently traveling to a comet, another one is heading to visit two asteroids, four are leaving our solar system and one is en route to Mercury and another is flying super-fast to our favorite dwarf planet “Pluto”!  How do they work?  How do we talk to them?  What are they telling us?  Why does NASA want YOU to be involved!  You’ll find out during this presentation!
